Today Tarstone Road Maintenance held two Wellness at Work Programmes, the first one was a workshop programme “Managing Health in the Workplace” and the second programme “Positive Mental Health at Work: Building Strength for the Future”.
Some of the benefits of the programme is, to identify the warning signs, apply basis cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principles to workplace circumstances and recognise the principles of a good wellness and coping mechanisms to create good Mental Health.
It is estimated that approximately one in ten people experience depression at any one time. While we all experience ups and downs in life, depression is more enduring in nature: there is little or no respite from symptoms over a period of weeks or more. Aware’s message is one of hope: recovery is possible.
